It's early 7.30am now in msia..apparently i cant sleep anymore cuz of the time diff.. so i'm here to release all my geram-ness
Early in the february, my housemate reached adelaide first, so he signed up bigpond as we dont have internet at home yet.. it was a 24 months contract with 89.95 dollar per month, and we got 12 months 50% discount..which means we only have to pay for 49.98 dollar for first 12 months.. the telstra asshole didnt tell him other conditions applied.. so basically things were going well for the first 6 months..till the 7th month..one day chian was shocked cuz she received a 89.95dollar bill from telstra..so we assumed that telstra gave us the wrong bill..who knows we received the same thing the following months..
Well of course we called the customer service for trillion times..and guess what.. once u call, the operator will tell u 'Sorry, we're currently dealing with large number of calls, please call again tomorrow' tut..tut..tut.. wtf.. they dont even let us to hang on the line and wait for the next available operator!
So we gave up on calling..chian emailed bigpond bout our situation.. and guess what again.. bigpond gave us the most irritating reply ever....

When i was in brisbane few days ago..i tried to call big pond again.. the operator said 'Sorry, we're dealing with large number of calls, please call 9..1..' tut...tut..tut.. wtf???? not even a complete number.. so sweat okay? so i gave up.. i let my bf do the rest..
Yesterday after my bf called for a million times..finally he got to talk to one of the operator..and u know wad the stupidass operator told my bf?? ' oh in order to get 12 months discount..there're 3 conditions which u have to fulfil.......
1. You must have a telstra land line
2. You must have a telstra mobile
3. You must do online billing
....
.......
I'm so f**king sure that when my housemate sign this contract.. the asshole didnt tell him anything bout the conditions.. i was SO pissed off can! how can such a well-known Australia telecommunication company have so much hidden fees/conditions.. THIS IS JUST SO WRONG! It's just not reasonable at all.. and i feel that consumers' right are not protected.. how i wish all the victims of bigpond can smashed the company down.. well probably i would email the consumer right of australia soon..i hope
Anyway, we decided to terminate the contract.. we have to pay like 230 dollars to terminate it whereas other company only need like around 50 bucks to terminate a contract.. we have to pay nearly 4 times more.. everything of telstra are expensive.. DONT ever ever sign bigpond internet, big pond counts ur uploading and downloading quota.. that's mean even u send a file to ur friend, ur using ur quota as well! so wtf right.. we become so restricted when using the internet.. I always have a second thought when i want to webcam or downloading songs or watch youtube.. we basicially overuse the internet every month..we end up using tortoise internet at the end of every month.. that's VERY VERy sucks okay..
If you're new to internet in australia..i suggest u to sign TPG, Optus or Adam.. TPG would be the cheapest and it's ADSL 2+....which is much much faster than ADSL(stupid big pond)..
DONT sign up for bigpond..or else i'll chop off your ass.. you'll be regret i guarantee
